This week I have had the pleasure of visiting most of the classes. What impressed me is how hard the children are working in class and how focused they are to be the best they can be. The school is very much a calm and purposeful environment.

On Tuesday we had our first Parent Update meeting with Mr. Guest. It was a good turnout and as always really useful to be able to share school priorities and hear parents’ views and comments. If you were unable to attend you can download the presentation on the Parents’ Update Meeting webpage.

Years 2 to 6 also had an assembly from the scouts organisation about how to get involved in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Our nearest group situation in Maryland Avenue has some FREE taster nights next week – see main update file for full details.

Then today (Friday) we had a super MacMillan coffee morning – see main update file for full details.

Also, Monday is the last chance to send in some items for our Harvest collection.
