What a half term! This has been one of the most challenging half terms we have ever faced, and I want to send a huge thank you out to the staff who have been amazing dealing with all the changes with staff absence. Also, a big thanks to parents for all their support; so many have helped protect our community with regular testing. The children have been amazing and have worked so hard.
This week we have started our onsite swimming lessons and I must say, it has been a delight to see the children so excited about this. We are already seeing huge improvements in their swimming. The national curriculum expectation is that children should be able to swim 25 metres. Unfortunately, we had to cancel these today due to the wind – but we should be back up and running after half term.
Wishing you all a very happy and safe half term – and hopefully a lot less windy and maybe a little warmer too!
