Dear all,
I have been very impressed this week with the children’s writing. Most classes are finishing off their talk for writing units and I have had the pleasure of having some children come to see me with their work. I have been super impressed with the quality, quantity, and presentation.
I also spent some time out playing with the children at lunch and have been impressed with their fair play and teamwork across the play zones. Thank you to those children who let me join in with their games.
I happened to walk into a year 3 class after lunch on Tuesday and got to join in with a lovely mindfulness activity; it made me feel very calm and relaxed after an active lunch. Activities like this take place throughout the school and are great, especially around transitions.
A huge thank you for all the teddy donations this week – we have lots but please feel free to continue to bring these in. Next week we are asking you to donate….chocolate. Once again, a box will be out before and after school.
Next week you will notice our Christmas lights appearing – the big switch on will take place at around 4.15 on Friday 3rd December as part of the Christmas Fair.
