Over the past week, pupils at Colebourne have been fortunate enough to have visits from two famous authors; Steve Voake and Steve Smallman.  Both authors read some of their stories to the whole school and explained how they wrote their books.  Steve Voake then worked with KS2, where they produced some poems and story openers. Steve Smallman worked with Reception and KS1, using his fantastic illustrations to help the children write stories and character descriptions. The work that the children produced was amazing. 3 winners were picked from each class who won a signed copy of the author’s book. What a great couple of days! Look out for some of the fabulous writing produced.
