A few weeks ago, Year 6 took part in an exciting day helping the police solve a murder mystery. They took fingerprints, asked detective questions, hunted for the weapon and helped the police search for clues. The children then had to write a newspaper report and a letter to parents, explaining what had happened. One of the teachers was the prime suspect and admitted to committing the crime. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves (even though it was all a set up by the teachers and there wasn’t a real body!)
