It has been a hot week so our Year 4 children decided to enjoy writing a character description in the sunshine! They produced some excellent work.

Year 2 – Victorian Day
As part of our Victorian theme, we had a special Victorian day. We made Victoria sponge cakes, had Victorian lessons and learnt even more about this period of History.

We have had a fabulous time today for World Book Day 2016. Children have taken part in some super challenges and activities; children in each class have had to complete a quiz to find the combination to a lock on
Whole School Panto trip
Today, the whole school went to the Hippodrome Theatre in Birmingham city centre to watch Jack and the Beanstalk. We had a fantastic time.
New term door book displays
We like to make to school feel welcoming and exciting, which is why each class door is always decorated in the style of one of the books the class are reading. Here are this term’s doors:
May half term challenges
We have 3 great challenges for over half term; there is a poetry competition, a science project (winners will get selected to represent the school at an event at King Edwards) and something to do with big fruit and vegetables!
